I know you’ve been cozy at home and have gotten used to not wearing pants. But covid-19 or not, virtual or in person, now that we are all social distanced and used to masks and all; at some point your going to need to dress up again. Why!? Because it’s nearly the month of Halloween and the mark of holiday, company and other social events. There could NOT be a better time to upgrade your wardrobe, try that new hairstyle or develop and update your personal style. Especially now, with all that we have been through in 2020. While all have sheltered in place, and many have been in the shadows barely even seen behind screen computer streams, few will emerge stronger and sharper.
Here in San Francisco, where we have had some of the first and strictest restrictions, we can still see the emergence beginning. This will only rise as we enter event season, and yes once again you will have to be seen. Even if your event is virtual, zoom or otherwise it’s still a wonderful chance to brand yourself and expand your opportunity. Now that basketball has been back as the Miami Heat will take on California’s LA Lakers; and as is football as the 49ers and Raiders have winning records. Like these teams, view this years event season as the start of a new season for you. And who doesn’t want to come out winning? When the press asks about the change, you can say “I jus wanted to work hard, stay positive and really enjoy what we may have taken for granted in the past.” They will celebrate you for it, because even if they hated before, everyone loves a winner; especially the underdog who emerges stronger after taking a loss. No one expected the Heat to be in this position, but they emerged from the NBA shutdown stronger. You can do the same towards crushing your goals.
The Clothing Coach studio is a place where confidence is born, promotions are made, businesses are created, relationships started. Your personal style and presentation DOES have that power. For gentleman of substance of course. Event season is the time to see and BE seen, and we all know the value of networking. Speak volumes non-verbally through your presentation. Don’t just have a go-to outfit for everything, dress to your event. Give it some thought, re-visit your goals, -respect your fellow guests and organizers. All this can and will help attract what your seeking, and most importantly give you the confidence that emits an undeniable deeply felt frequency. Your presentation should be about presence, not a fashion essence.
If you plan to do any networking or long for new social interactions, I implore you to realize the power of your presentation. You have the power and control to influence a room, attract your next mentor, business partner or lover. It’s time to take control, take your power back and develop a personal style reflective of your personality and goals.
