Our Company Story

The Clothing Coach was founded in San Francisco in 2016 to restore what had been lost in modern menswear: quality craftsmanship, expert guidance, and exceptional customer service.

Founder and Master Clothier Magdy Kotb recognized a troubling shift in the clothing industry. Standards of production were declining, customer education had disappeared, and purchasing clothing had become transactional rather than meaningful.

The Clothing Coach was created to change that.

Our mission is to provide men with the knowledge, craftsmanship, and personalized guidance needed to turn clothing from a routine expense into a long-term investment in their image and success.

Today, The Clothing Coach offers fully custom menswear, personal style consulting and image development programs with our San Francisco showroom in the iconic Union Square, located inside a traditional tailoring house.
